Affordable access to high-quality college education has never been a greater need.

Southwestern Michigan College is proud to continually expand academic offerings on both our campuses, Niles and Dowagiac.

College represents a great investment.

There is an $831,000 average difference in total lifetime earnings in the United States between college graduates and people with only a high school diploma, according to a new study from the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco reported in the May 19 Time magazine.

We know paying for college is a huge concern for most people.

In this edition, you will see how by attending SMC you can avoid massive student loan debt and reap all of the rewards of a college education at a fraction of the cost you could pay elsewhere.

We invite you to discover all of the educational advantages available at SMC and look forward to seeing you on our campuses.

Dr. David M. Mathews
President, Southwestern Michigan College
